Our work always gets us to meet and share wonderful moments with beautiful people, and it is one of the most gratifying aspects of our job. This time, we had the honor of helping plan, photograph and film Saud’s proposal to his wonderful Jules with the most incredible backdrop – Lake Como, transfigured into an even more magical scenery by a soft, cool rain. The private estate Villa La Cassinella was the perfect home for this unforgettable proposal, made even more special by the semi-arch carefully curated by The Garden of Love.
And when the rain stopped, and we got back to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, we had a second part of the shoot, Dolce-Vita inspired.
We were honored to help Saud create this magical moment for Jules – and we promise, you will fall in love with them too!
Saud’s proposal to his girlfriend – now fiancee! – Julia Raleigh took place on September 6th, 2024 in the wonderful Villa La Cassinella. La Cassinella is one of the most beautiful properties on the lake, and it has the unique feature of being the only villa whose only access is through the water.
The florists from The Garden of Love took care of setting up a dreamy proposal spot in the garden of the villa: a blush and pink semi-arch to surround the couple in one of the most special moments of their lives.
We picked up Julia and Saud at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where the couple stayed for the week, on the signature vintage boat of the villa. From there, we reached La Cassinella, under a soft September rain. There, Saud proposed to Julia – it was so incredibly romantic, and the rain made it even more special.
A couple shoot across the gardens and halls of the villa followed. Then, we got back to the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and waited for the rain to stop – soon enough, the sun came out and allowed us to shoot some fun portraits in the gardens and around the property.
