A four-hands prewedding portrait session at the iconic Villa del Balbianello was the perfect way to kick-off season 2026!

Photographed by Alice (on the main digital camera) and Selene (on the drone, film camera, and second digital one) this portrait session blew us away with its spring beauty. Early April can be tricky in Lake Como, but the weather was simply perfect on the day of the session.

We opted for an early morning session to capture the still beauty of Lake Como.

For this session, we tested a hybrid mix of digital photography and film – precisely, a roll of Portra 160 shot on a Nikon F90x with a 35mm lens. A vintage cinematic vibe that perfectly matched the couple’s energy!

Joanne wore a fantastic Galia Lahav wedding dress, and chose a classic white bouquet designed by Figli dei Fiori.
