Wedding in Positano, Villa Magia

Love always finds a way, and Kaila and Marcus’s wedding in Positano was a perfect example of that. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Amalfi Coast, their intimate celebration at Villa Magia was simply magical: rain, sun, and all.

The day began with stormy skies, as rain poured over Positano through the night and into the morning. But if there was ever a couple whose love could chase away the clouds, it was Kaila and Marcus.

The moment we arrived at Villa Magia, Kaila confidently told us the sun would come out—and she was right. Just before their wedding ceremony on the villa’s stunning terrace, overlooking the sea, the sky cleared, revealing a breathtaking amethyst-hued sunset.

Kaila and Marcus got ready separately—Marcus with his best friend, Kaila in a gorgeous suite with panoramic views of Positano’s colorful coastline alongside her younger sister and her best friend.

Their ceremony was deeply personal, officiated by Kaila’s grandmother, with florals in soft blush and purple accents—her favorite color. But the real surprise came when Marcus gifted Kaila a new rose-gold diamond wedding ring, a touching gesture that left everyone (her, first!) in awe.

After the ceremony and cocktails, we explored the villa’s terraces for sunset-hour portraits, capturing the couple against the most spectacular coastal views.

As night fell, their plan B reception setup turned out to be even more breathtaking than plan A—an intimate ivy-covered terrace glowing with fairy lights, golden details, and lush floral arrangements.

The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, a sparkling cake-cutting moment, and a poolside dance party.

But the true highlight? A romantic last dance on the beach.

As photographers and videographers, we knew we couldn’t leave Positano without capturing something so unforgettable. So, barefoot in the sand, under the twinkling coastal lights, Kaila and Marcus had one final, intimate dance — ending their wedding in Positano in the most magical way possible.
