Classic art was the inspiration for this Wedding at Villa Pizzo, Lake Como

Sachi and Kenzi flew from Dubai to Lake Como for their iconic destination wedding at Villa Pizzo.
Villa Pizzo is a stunning lakefront property located above Cernobbio. It’s one of the most romantic estates, and it’s perfect for a destination wedding with an aristocratic yet intimate vibe. Its pastel colors matched the decor this couple chose so perfectly – it was a dream come true.

What we loved about this wedding, in particular, was its unique design curated by the wedding planner Zaira from I do in Lake Como.

Starting from the ceremony at the darsena of the villa: a three-part green and white arch, scattered seatings of different shapes and sizes, and the presence of a string quartet that took the lateral part of the aisle, becoming a part of the design itself.

The ceremony was intimate and with a very special touch: instead of exchanging wedding rings, Sachi and Kenzi exchanged golden necklaces. It was such a unique moment!

Another piece of decor we adored was the dining area. During the wedding season, Villa Pizzo has a stunning glass marquee to host its dinner parties. The marquee was enriched with differently shaped tables – circular ones disposed in a long serpentine, plus mirror ring-shaped ones around them. The floral decor was absolutely unique: fresh fruit (apples and pears, mostly) decorated with pearls on them, white candles, and scattered florals created a very peculiar design that added to the whimsical atmosphere of the event. 

And talking about whimsical, three tenors performed during the wedding dinner, together with a play of light performed by dancers dressed as human statues.

The whole party loved this unique entertainment idea! The dinner was followed by a cake cutting and a champagne tower, and a dance party (of course). We loved every minute of it!
