Quiet luxury on the Amalfi Coast: Alex and Peyton’s wedding at Villa Eva Ravello

 
Ravello has a way of slowing time. Located high above the Amalfi Coast, suspended between sky and sea, it invites presence: long conversations, shared meals, slow-paced beauty. Alexandra and Peyton chose this setting for a wedding weekend designed to be exactly that: intentional, elegant, and deeply lived in.

Imagine this: late spring wrapping the coast in warm light and soft perfumes. Over the three days of celebration, friends and family gathered to celebrate with pizza and limoncello, laughter and excitement through the town’s stone streets, with the Mediterranean always in view. A destination wedding that felt luxurious and charming, yet profoundly intimate and personal.

From the beginning, Alexandra and Peyton imagined a celebration that reflected who they are: refined but never rigid, emotional without formality, and most of all centered on connection. With the guidance of Italian Wedding Event, they shaped a weekend that balanced beauty and ease – and from our very first call together, their vision felt immediately clear to us.

The festivities began on Saturday evening with a relaxed portrait session through the streets of Ravello. Alexandra wore a tea-length floral dress, Peyton a tan suit: effortlessly timeless, perfectly in tune with the town around them. It was the ideal way to settle into the weekend and into the camera, without pressure or performance, two lovebirds living the moment and loving every second of it.
The couple session was followed by a welcome pizza party on the terrace of Mimì (best pizza place in Ravello, period!), overlooking the coast. Red-and-white linens, fresh tomatoes, basil, and seasonal florals set the scene, while acoustic Italian music and heartfelt speeches filled the air. Simple, joyful, unmistakably Amalfi Coast.

The wedding day took place at Villa Eva, an elegant Art Nouveau villa located in the heart of Ravello. A light morning rain softened the atmosphere, drawing dramatic clouds across the sky before giving way to gentle rays of sun.

Alexandra and Peyton shared a private first look and exchanged vows on the villa’s roof terrace, surrounded by panoramic views and quiet emotion. Their portrait session in the gardens followed: Alexandra in an Eva Lendel gown with detachable sleeves and a long veil, Peyton in a classic black suit. Editorial, romantic, timeless – just like these two. The ceremony was the emotional heart of the day. Intimate, tender, and deeply moving, it was officiated by Francy, who translated the couple’s story into words with grace and warmth. Spring florals – pinks, peaches, whites, and lilies – framed both the ceremony and dinner, perfectly matching the colors of spring.

An Italian-style dinner, speeches by the couple’s parents, the cake cutting of a delicious Italian millefogile – it was time to party! Helen Tesfazghi’s live band carried the night with a soulful mix of pop classics, drawing everyone onto the dance floor. Alexandra changed into her second dress (an absolute diva!), as the energy filled the air.
The night closed with a super romantic last dance, followed by a sparkler send-off through the streets of Ravello: the perfect ending to the most romantic day.

Alexandra and Peyton’s wedding felt exactly as it should: elegant, emotional, and entirely true to the people at its center.
