Two of hearts: an unconventional Jewish Wedding in Lake Como
An intimate Jewish Wedding in Lake Como at Grand Hotel Tremezzo
Teri & Aaron, an unconventional Jewish wedding in Lake Como
The beauty of being you when planning your own wedding: Teri and Aaron wanted their destination Jewish wedding to be spontaneous, fun, unconventional, and emotional. They had it all: an intimate but excited wedding party, a stunning early-fall day in Lake Como, the warm light of October, and the cool breeze. The result was a Jewish wedding that really spoke about the couple, their love, and values. We loved every minute of it!
Take a look at this beautiful wedding that took place in one of the most amazing hotels of Lake Como, the one and only Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

When I first spoke with Teri about her jewish wedding in Lake Como, I fell in love with her personality, her attitude, and her vision for this destination wedding. Then, when I saw her rocking her unicorn hair and her pink and lavender wedding dress – with a lace back to show her tattoos – I knew the day was going to be unforgettable!
After a romantic first look with Aaron in front of the art-deco fountain in the garden of Grand Hotel Tremezzo, we moved to the frescoed Sala Contessa for the reading and signing of the Ketubah, the traditional Jewish wedding contract partially written by the couple. Their Ketubah had the lines from the Bible quoted around it – “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine”.
That was the fil rouge of the ceremony as well: it took place after reading and signing the Ketubah in the Winter Garden of Grand Hotel Tremezzo, surrounded by the warm afternoon light. There, the groom’s family rabbi, and friend celebrated an informal and emotional ceremony followed by Teri and Aaron’s personally written vows.
Smashing the glass, the ceremony was over: the couple and their guests moved to the aperitif area and Teri went back to her room to wear her artisanal sequin-decorated second dress, the one she wore when she and Aaron got legally married during COVID.
A seated reception followed in the internal room of the Winter Garden fully decorated with tropical plants, a perfect continuation to the greenhouse vibe of the ceremony.
After cutting the cake, we ended the night with some fun and blurry couple photos. Loved every moment of it!
