We love it when things get a little spicy – stylish, bold, and full of personality. So when Liz and Chris told us they wanted a fashion-forward couple session in Rome to celebrate their 10-year anniversary, we were immediately obsessed.

We had the pleasure of photographing this chic anniversary weekend alongside Mauro Pozzer, who beautifully captured the film photography, while Selene led the creative direction and photographed the digital session with her signature modern edge.

Liz and Chris originally eloped in Italy ten years ago: a quiet, romantic, low-key affair. But this time, they decided to go big: inviting 30 of their closest friends and family to join them for a weekend of celebration, style, and la dolce vita in the heart of Rome.

Their home base was The Hoxton Hotel, with its stylish blend of modern design and antique charm. We leaned into that aesthetic, matching their surroundings with a sharp, fashion-inspired editorial tone in our images.

And then there were the looks. The moment we saw Liz and Chris’s outfits, we knew this wasn’t going to be your average couple shoot. Tom Ford set the tone for their golden anniversary night: Liz stunned in a bold gold pantsuit with strappy heels, while Chris mirrored her energy in a sleek head-to-toe Tom Ford ensemble. With our flash photography in full swing, we turned this session into a full-blown editorial – and they absolutely rocked it.

The following morning, we met the couple at sunrise for round two. Liz’s Dolce & Gabbana red-and-black suit paired perfectly with the dramatic sky over the Colosseum. Chris wore Brunello Cucinelli, bringing Italian elegance into the daylight session. We embraced every cinematic detail — from an espresso and a cornetto to a copy of Vogue Italia — capturing the spirit of Rome with a playful, fashion-forward twist.

It was bold, it was stylish, and it was full of love. A celebration ten years in the making — and a couple who proved that anniversary shoots can be as exciting and stylish as a wedding day (if not more).
