Armenian Wedding in Venice
Michelle & Daniel – Armenian Wedding in Venice
Two kilometers from Venice lies San Lazzaro degli Armeni. This is a very small island that has been home to the monastery of the Mekhitarists, an Armenian Catholic congregation, since 1717.
Daniel is an Armenian and, together with Michelle, chose this beautiful location to celebrate their Armenian wedding in Venice.
The wedding day began with the getting ready for the bride and the groom in two different apartments near the Grand Canal.
Daniel was waiting for Michelle in a calle nearby. She walked to him and touched his shoulder to make him turn to face her.
The first look war emotional for both of them: he said to her that she was beautiful right before she kissed him.
After a small boat trip to San Giorgio for the couple shoot, we went to San Lazzaro degli Armeni for the ceremony.
The small church is very peculiar and was the perfect location for this Armenian ceremony.
The dinner and the wedding party took place at ‘Ca Zenobio degli Armeni, another Armenian historical palace in Venice. We love this palace because of the frescos in the main room of the first floor.
Michelle and Daniel made their first dance right in the middle of the tables, surrounded by their best friends and family.
After the dinner and the cake cutting the party went on until night, with a lot of music and dancing in the lobby of this amazing historical palace.
