Sarah & Marc – September 15th, 2025
A catholic-jewish wedding on the grand canal at st regis, venice
We will always be deeply in love with Venice, and this mid-September celebration on the Grand Canal was an absolute dream. Sarah and Marc tied the knot on the terrace of The St. Regis, surrounded by polished marble, mirrored reflections, and an iconic view of the city as the sun began to set.
Their ceremony was a beautiful blend of both their heritages, officiated by a Catholic priest to honor Sarah’s family, while incorporating meaningful Jewish traditions – like the breaking of the glass – for Marc’s side.
The floral design was unforgettable: a classic chuppah adorned with white, soft purple, and blush blooms that complemented the late-summer Venetian light perfectly.
One of our favorite moments was the portrait session: cruising the canals on a classic wooden water taxi in true Venetian style, followed by a walk around Isola di San Giorgio just as the sky turned purple and golden.
Back at The St. Regis, the evening moved to a fun celebration filled with live music, local cuisine, and classic Venetian drinks (Bellinis included, of course).
We loved every single second of it!

A catholic-jewish wedding on the grand canal at st regis, venice
Venice will always have our hearts, and Sarah and Marc’s mid-September wedding on the Grand Canal was pure magic.
They exchanged vows on the iconic terrace of The St. Regis, blending Catholic and Jewish traditions under a floral chuppah woven with white, purple, and pink blooms. After an unforgettable water taxi ride and a golden-hour portrait session on Isola di San Giorgio, everyone gathered back at the hotel for an evening of live music, delicious Venetian fare, and endless Bellinis.
A true celebration of love, heritage, and late-summer Venetian light.
