One Love, Three Weddings: Maggy and Filippo’s Wedding Couple Photos in Bali

#magfilinlove: Wedding Couple Photos in Bali

Filippo and Maggy’s wedding day in Bali was absolutely gorgeous.

It was one of the most emotional, beautiful, crazy weddings I’ve ever been lucky enough to photograph!

We didn’t have much time for a proper couple shoot on the wedding day, so we decided to postpone that part and have a wedding couple photo session two days later, in Villa Lalaland. It was simply amazing.

From the very first moment I walked into Villa Lalaland in Canggu, Bali, I was blown away.

Everything about that Villa is simply amazing: a wonderful structure (it was built and lived in by two architects, after all!), an incredible furniture design, and so many particulars you could live in for months and still be amazed!

One of the coolest things about that Villa is the number of egg-shapes and triangles you can find around.
And – of course! – I knew I had to make good use of them!

We had this beautiful couple session on the morning of my last day in Bali. All of the other wedding guests were either gone or still asleep – the whole house was for us only.

We started with Maggy and Filippo getting ready together and cuddling in their bedroom – it was such a romantic and intimate moment after the rush of the previous days. Then we photographed all around the villa and the back garden, with its amazing view on the rice fields.

My favorite photos of this shooting are the ones in the triangular, beams-ceiling attic we found by accident – the contrast between the precise architecture and the wild nature around was just amazing to me.

I loved shooting with them, and I was so happy to share those amazing moments with such beautiful human beings.
