A timeless Tuscan wedding at Chiesa di Ognissanti Florence and Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte

A truly timeless and classy wedding – that’s the story we’re sharing today: the wedding of Hannah and Blake, a New York couple who chose tradition and an old-money aesthetic with a personal twist that spoke perfectly of the two of them.

Over 130 guests gathered from all over the world to celebrate in true Florentine style.

We loved their attire choices: Hannah wore a delicate A-line gown that perfectly complemented her bob haircut, while Blake’s wedding look was inspired by David Bowie’s legendary wedding to Iman (which also took place in a church in Florence) – a dark blue suit, a white bow tie, and a delicate white floral boutonnière.

Both got ready in a private villa their families rented for the weekend just outside Florence, where they also shared their first look and private vows.

As mentioned, the Catholic wedding ceremony took place at Chiesa di Ognissanti in Florence, a baroque masterpiece featuring frescoes by Botticelli.

And speaking of masterpieces, the reception was held in the Tuscan countryside at the iconic Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte, where the couple arrived in the back of a vintage Volkswagen Beetle convertible.

There, they enjoyed their wedding dinner and dancing in the iconic frescoed hall, followed by an unforgettable cake cutting and fireworks.

A live band kicked off the party, and we wrapped up the day with a late-night portrait session, once again on the Beetle, with their second party outfits.
