A romantic and glam St Regis Wedding in Venice at the historical Europa Regina

Magic happens when you work with the right team! Alexandria & Cameron knew that September 4th, 2021 was going to be their day – pandemic or not, they knew their wedding was going to happen, and in style!
The bride & groom wanted to experience the vibrant city during one of its most famous and important events, the Venice Film Festival. The whole city of Venice is extra-fabulous at that time of the year, and this wedding was absolutely in tune with it.
They chose one of the landmark hotels of Venice, the majestic St Regis – Europa Regina for their old Hollywood, black-tie event, and an unconventional location for the ceremony as well: an ancient monastery, now hotel, called Combo. Enjoy!

The charm of Venice never ceases to attract millions of tourists from all over the world, especially during the Venice film festival. The old-world elegance was somehow a theme for this black-tie St Regis Wedding in Venice, starting from the smallest details to the choice of the locations, music, food, and entertainment.

Our day with Alex and Cameron started at the wonderful Hotel Molino Stucky in the Giudecca: another landmark of the city, a neogothic early-900 industrial palace turned into a fancy hotel. There, between bowties & Aperol spritzes, Cameron got ready to meet with his beautiful bride.
At the St Regis, Alexandria was getting ready: her spectacular, sequin-filled dress lit up the room and was absolutely perfect for the theme!
After a lovely first look with her dad, the bride and her family jumped on a water taxi and headed to the ancient monastery where the ceremony took place.

They got married in the cloister of the ancient Convento dei Crociferi, now turned into a young, contemporary hotel: the Combo in Venice. The ceremony was preceded by the cutest flower girl ever: the bride’s grandmother gave each woman a white rose, in a lovely and touching moment.
The couple celebrated their love in a romantic, fun ceremony followed by an Italian-style aperitif.

After some photos, we went back to the St Regis for a three-course dinner with a view: it took place on the spectacular terrace of the hotel, surrounded by old trees and facing the lagoon in a magical atmosphere.

Then, it was party time: and yes, the day couldn’t have ended in a better way!
