If there is one thing every couple hopes for on their wedding day, it’s the perfect weather forecast. We all dream of golden light and still air, but sometimes, the unexpected is exactly what creates the most soulful, unforgettable memories. This was certainly the case for Nicole and Edgar’s intimate masseria wedding in Puglia.
The original plan was a full immersion in the Apulian landscape: a ceremony in the front garden of the masseria, cocktail hour by the pool, and an al fresco dinner among ancient olive trees. However, Puglia had other plans. We woke up to an untamed, powerful wind: the kind that makes outdoor tables impossible but creates a cinematic energy that is simply impossible to script.
While the dinner had to move indoors, the wind became the secret protagonist of the day. From our perspective behind the lens, it was kind of a dream. Seeing Nicole’s custom Eva Lendel wedding dress dance in the wind under the lime tree of the piazzetta was pure editorial magic: a moment of effortless movement and ethereal beauty.
The whole celebration took place at Masseria Don Luigi in Savelletri. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and the scent of the nearby sea, this venue is a true hidden gem for those seeking an intimate and romantic wedding location. Planned to perfection by Federica Crasnich from WeddingItaly, every detail was super intentional, and every moment was wonderfully executed.
With a guest count of only twenty, the day had the atmosphere of an exclusive dinner party where every element was thoughtfully curated. The ceremony was held before a stunning white and green arch by Flower Addicted, a floral design that mirrored the wild, elegant textures of the surrounding environment.
One of our favorite moments? The cake cutting. Despite the change in plans, sharing that adorable heart-shaped wedding cake under the shelter of the olive trees felt like the perfect conclusion to their story.

Set in Savelletri, surrounded by olive trees and the salt air of the sea, Masseria Don Luigi provided the perfect romantic backdrop for a guest list of twenty. Every detail, curated by Federica Crasnich from WeddingItaly, felt unique and soulful.
When a strong wind forced the dinner indoors, it could have been a setback. Instead, it became an editorial highlight. We captured Nicole’s custom Eva Lendel gown dancing in the breeze, the most amazing sunset, and the sound of the wind always in the background.
From the sculptural white and green florals by Flower Addicted to a charming heart-shaped cake under the olive trees, the day was a masterclass in “quiet luxury.”
We provided the photography, videography, and content creation for this stunning day. It was a beautiful reminder: when you let go of the “perfect” plan, you find something much more truthful.
