Pink, it was love at first sight

Elopement Photos Lake Garda / Wedding at the Castle of Malcesine
This kind of couple, and this kind of wedding, are among the reasons why we love this job.
The town of Malcesine in Lake Garda is absolutely stunning, with its tiny colorful houses and its majestic castle.
There, at the Terrace of the Castle of Malcesine, one can have an intimate, incredibly beautiful wedding ceremony facing the lake.
And the light and colors of that perfect summer afternoon did the rest: the light was so soft, bright and pink. As the Aerosmith used to sing, Pink: it was love at first sight.
We love Love Stories in which two worlds collide. People that meet in the most unpredictable ways, coming from two different worlds – and yet, these two worlds collide.
Lana comes from Russia, Todd is Australian – they met, they fell in love, and decided to visit the world together.
They flew off from Australia about two months before the wedding, put their jobs on hold and decided to visit all of Europe.
Since their families live in two different countries, they decided to elope: and Lake Garda was the most beautiful venue they could find!
The Castle of Malcesine is an ancient building with a very long history: its first records seem to come back to the Third-Fourth Century b.C.! Its terrace, where civil weddings take place, has an incredible view of the lake and is absolutely breath-taking.
There, Lana and Todd shared their vows with tears of joy in their eyes.
After the ceremony, we shot around the castle (it was just too beautiful!).
Then, we continued in the small streets of Malcesine.
There, we found a spectacular sunset: the light was pink, the lake blue and their matching white dresses were absolutely perfect.
We ended our shooting at a beach nearby. The light of the early sunset was rose-gold (yes, you can get rose-gold light in Lake Garda!) and the atmosphere was just perfect.
